Water Rates
The drinking water in Trenton comes from underground aquifers which are tapped by a series of deep wells. Trenton Light and Water's wells have a pumping capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day. On the average, 600,000 gallons per day are treated. The quality of the water is excellent and we test it regularly to make sure it stays that way.
All water
charges are subject to 9.75%
sales tax unless exempted by
state or federal law.
